Workflows

Collect a client's brief with question flows

Replace the intake questionnaire you email around with a branded flow your client answers in the portal, attached to a room.

Why this matters

Intake questionnaires sent as attachments come back half-filled, in the wrong version, or not at all. A question flow lives in the portal, branches on your client's answers, and saves as they go, so you get complete answers attached to the room they're about.

The steps

  1. Create a question flowBuild the questions, choose their types and add branching where answers lead elsewhere.
  2. Publish and attach a question flowPublish the flow so it can be attached. Its questions become read-only once published.
  3. Attach a briefAttach the published flow to the room it's about.
  4. Space briefCheck the brief the way your client will see it before they start.
  5. Answer a space briefYour client answers in the portal; answers save as they go.
  6. Space briefWatch for the brief to be submitted, then read the answers on the room.

Good to know

  • Build a flow once and reuse it on every project.
  • Project intake uses its own automatic flow per project; you don't attach flows to projects.
  • A submitted brief can't be detached from the room.
