October 8, 2026 (0.103.0 and 0.103.1)

  • Project Health links to Financials. From a project's Project Health, open that project's Financials view directly.
  • Notes close with Back. Your browser's Back button now closes Project Notes and returns you to the project, and still asks before discarding unsaved edits. See Project notes.
  • A tidier project overview. The duplicate Financials card and Retainer section are gone from the project overview. Request and cancel a retainer from the project header. See Retainers.
  • Named approval options. Each option in the approval builder has a name field. A blank name saves as "Option 1", "Option 2" and so on. See Create an approval request.
  • Clearer approval labels. Delete is now Archive, Lock is now Close, draft cards say Open draft, and "Your notes" is Notes for the client. Pros and cons hold up to five entries, each up to 200 characters.
  • No more Expired tab. Expired requests now appear under All and Closed. See Approvals list.

October 8, 2026 (0.102.0)

  • Proof for refunds. Attach a photo of the check, a screenshot of the transfer, or a PDF to a refund you paid back to a client, up to 100 MB. Refund proofs are private to the firm until you choose Share with client. See Refunds paid back to clients.

October 7, 2026 (0.101.0)

  • Record refunds to clients. Refund items… on a paid invoice now asks whether to keep the money as client credit or Refund to client, and records how you paid it back. Moodiri records the refund; it never moves the money. See Record a client refund.
  • Refund client credit later. Client credit on Financials has Refund to client, so credit from a cancelled order or an overpayment can be paid back in full or in part.
  • Refund receipts. Each refund gets its own number and a PDF receipt, saved to the project's documents, shown in the client's portal and emailed to them. Voiding a refund returns the amount to client credit. See Void a client refund.
  • QuickBooks. Each refund posts to QuickBooks as an expense from the bank account you choose.

October 6, 2026 (0.99.0)

  • Smarter QuickBooks import. The import review now suggests the project for each invoice, for example a project you used before for that QuickBooks customer, and says why. See Import from QuickBooks.
  • Card payment method. Record a card payment as Card instead of Other. See Record a manual payment.

October 5, 2026 (0.96.2)

  • Faster clicks. Pages open almost at once when the pointer rests on a link before you click.
  • Lighter client portal photos. Small photos in the client portal load resized copies, so rooms open faster. Full-size views still show the original.

October 1 and 2, 2026 (0.96.0 and 0.96.1)

  • Bill logged time from the invoice. Add logged time in the invoice builder shows the project's unbilled time as weekly cards. Add entries one per line or grouped. See Create an invoice.
  • Partial billing. Bill fewer hours than were logged; the rest stays unbilled for the next invoice. See Invoice unbilled time.
  • Unbilled time at a glance. The Create invoice window shows the project's unbilled time, with Bill logged time to start an invoice with all of it.
  • Time on projects where design services may be taxed. Time can now be billed on those projects with a Billed without sales tax notice and a confirmation.

September 29 and 30, 2026 (0.94)

  • QuickBooks changes arrive on their own. Moodiri reads changes from your connected QuickBooks company every 15 minutes, so edits made there reach Moodiri without a manual scan. See Sync review.
  • Sidebar opens on hover. A collapsed sidebar widens to show its labels while you rest the pointer on it. See Finding your way around.
  • A refreshed logo. The Moodiri logo and browser icon are redrawn, and adding Moodiri to an iPhone or iPad home screen now shows the icon.
