Import a captured product
Choose the project and space for a product you captured with the Chrome extension, then import it.
Why use it
When you capture a product from a vendor site with the Chrome extension, it still needs a home. This page lets you file it into the right project and room in one step, with the details already filled in.
When to use it
- After a capture. The extension opens this page when you send a captured product to Moodiri.
- Avoiding duplicates. It warns you when the same product from the same link is already in the room.
To capture and send to a space or section straight from the extension, see Capture a product.
Before you start
- The Moodiri Chrome extension, connected to your account. See Install and connect.
- A project with at least one space. If the project has no spaces, the page asks you to add one first.
Steps
- Check the captured product's name, photo, price, model, finish and category.
- Under Add to project, choose the Project.
- Choose the Space the product belongs in.
- Choose Import product.
What happens next
- Moodiri shows Product imported! and opens the room's products page.
- The product is a draft, hidden from your client, until you share it, send it for approval or approve it.
- Open it to add the vendor, markup and quotes on its product page.
Limits
Limits
- This page opens from the Chrome extension, not from a menu in Moodiri.
- A product already in the space offers Increase quantity or Add as separate.
Questions
What if the product is already in that room?
Moodiri shows Already in this space with the current quantity. Choose Increase quantity to add one to the existing product, or Add as separate for a second product.
Where does the imported product go?
Into the space you chose, as a draft hidden from your client. Moodiri takes you to that room's products page.
