Accept a team invitation

Why use it

An invitation adds you to an existing firm's workspace with the role the owner or an admin chose for you. You share the firm's projects, clients and files instead of starting an empty workspace of your own.

When to use it

• A teammate invited you to their firm on Moodiri.

Before you start

• The invitation email, sent within the last 7 days.
• Access to the inbox for that address. The secure sign-in link goes there too.

Steps

1. Open the invitation email and follow its link. Moodiri shows a Join card with the firm's name, who invited you and your role.
2. Choose Accept & continue. Moodiri sends a secure sign-in link to the invited email address.
3. Open that email, follow the link, and choose Continue on the Confirm your sign-in page.
4. On Create your password, set a password of at least 8 characters and choose Set password.

What happens next

• You join the firm with the role on the card: Member or Admin. See Plans, roles and feature availability for what each role can do.
• Your invitation used one of the firm's paid seats when it was sent, so no seat change is needed when you accept.
• Next time, log in with your email and password. See Sign in.

Limits

Troubleshooting

• Invitation unavailable: the link couldn't be used. The message under it says why.
• This invitation has expired.: ask the firm to send a new invitation.
• This invitation has already been used.: the invitation was accepted already. Sign in instead.
• This email already belongs to a Moodiri account. Ask the inviter to use a different address.: ask the firm to invite another email address.
