Callout 1: Save changes

**Branding** is where your firm's logo and brand color live. Clients see them every time they open the portal or an invoice, so this is one of the first things to set up.

Open **Settings**, then choose **Branding**.

Only the owner and admins with the **Firm settings** permission can change branding. Everyone else sees it read-only.

## What you see here

- **Logo.** Drop an image on the upload box or browse for one. A square image around 160 × 160 px with a simple, mostly solid mark works best. The logo appears in your dashboard sidebar, the client portal and on invoices.
- **Brand color** (optional). Type a hex color such as `#FF5500`, or choose the swatch next to the field (**Pick brand color**) to use a color picker. It is used for buttons and accents in the client portal.

Choose **Save changes** to save. You see **Branding saved.** when it worked.

For how branding looks to clients, see [Branding the portal](https://docs.moodiri.com/client-portal/branding-the-portal).

## Limits

- Logo uploads: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB.
- The brand color must be a valid hex color. **Save changes** stays unavailable until it is.
- Without a brand color, the portal uses near-black.

## Troubleshooting

- **Enter a valid hex color (e.g. #FF5500)** Use a `#` followed by six characters (0-9, A-F).
- **Only JPEG, PNG, and WebP images are allowed.** Save your logo in one of those formats and upload it again.
