# Procurement tracking

> Track each final selection from quote to installation with a status, order number, tracking, lead time and delivery dates.

Once a product is decided, the work shifts to getting it ordered, shipped and
installed. Procurement tracking keeps that status on each final selection, so you
can see at a glance what is still to order, what is backordered and what has
arrived, room by room.

You set procurement details on the product: choose **Edit product** on its
[product page](https://docs.moodiri.com/products/product-page) and fill in the **Procurement** part of the
form. Final selections also show a status control at the top of the product page's
side panel, so you can change the status in one click.

## Procurement statuses (Not Ordered → Installed, Returned, Backordered, Cancelled)

Every product has one of nine statuses:

- **Not Ordered**: decided, not yet ordered.
- **Quoted**: you have a vendor quote.
- **Ordered**: the order is placed.
- **Shipped**: on its way.
- **Delivered**: arrived.
- **Installed**: in place.
- **Returned**, **Backordered** or **Cancelled**: for orders that went off track.

On the room's **Final selection** view, the procurement status filter shows how many

## Order number, tracking, lead time and delivery dates

The **Procurement** part of the product form holds:

- **Status**
- **Order number**
- **Order date**
- **Est. delivery**
- **Tracking number**
- **Lead time**, in weeks
- **Procurement notes**, for ordering, shipping or installation details

Once the status moves past **Not Ordered** or any detail is filled in, a final selection's product page shows a **Procurement & receiving**
card with the order details.

> **Tip:** Record the lead time as soon as you have the quote. It helps you set your
> client's expectations before they approve.

## Limits

- Lead time is entered in weeks.
- The **Procurement & receiving** card shows only for final selections with at least one procurement detail.
- The procurement status filter shows only in the room's **Final selection** view.

## Questions

### How do I change a status quickly?

Open the product. On a final selection, the status control sits at the top of the side panel, so you can change it without opening the edit form.

### Where do I see every order in a room at once?

Open the room's **Final selection** view and filter by procurement status, or export the list from **More product actions**.
